 Mike Doyle grew up in the music business watching his father, artist manager Bob Doyle, guide the career of Garth Brooks. He learned the ropes of the music industry as a member representative at ASCAP where he became known for his passion for great songs and his ability to help writers grow in their craft.

In the nineties he made the move from ASCAP to the family business and is part of the creative department of Major Bob Music, an exciting company that signs a lot of young writers and does a lot of artist development. Major Bob is one of the few successful publishing companies that has remained independent and resisted corporate mergers.

Mike's sixteen-week songwriting class, taught twice a year, is one of the best educational opportunities in Nashville for writers who are serious about their careers.
