Janie West is a 30 year veteran of Music Row. Her career began as assistant to legendary producer and executive Jimmy Bowen at MCA/Universal Records, then A&R representative at Capitol Records followed by 10 years of employment in music publishing. She had cuts with Garth Brooks, Keb Mo, Bonnie Raitt, Alabama, Wynonna, and many others. During the last 11 years, she has had her own independent song plugging service where she has secured cuts with George Strait, Reba, Ronnie Dunn, Love and Theft, Blind Boys of Alabama, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton and others.
