The goal is to find the most talented writers possible - not just the ones with money. No talented writer should be prevented from attending because of an inability to pay the full $295 workshop fee.

Scholarships are only for songwriters who would be unable to attend if they had to pay the full fee. All writers are expected to pay something.

If you need a fee reduction to make your attendance possible, you must request it within three days of being notified that you were selected to present your songs at the workshop.

When requesting a scholarship please provide a brief overview of your financial situation and an estimate of what you can afford to pay.

There are no funds available to help with travel or lodging. (A list of inexpensive lodging options will be provided.)

There are no scholarships offered to auditors but volunteers are needed to help facilitate the workshop and they may attend free of charge. Email or call me at 615-383-5616 if you are interested in volunteering.
